Jeff Rogers has been a Lexington, Kentucky-based professional photographer for over 31 years. He has had five other successful and highly acclaimed books- Kentucky Wide, Kentucky Wide II, Kentucky: Beauty of the Bluegrass, Kentucky: Seasons of the Bluegrass, and My Father’s World.
Jeff was also an adjunct professor at Asbury College. He was born in Corinth (population 250), a town that symbolizes his love for rural Kentucky. He received a B.A. in Art from Transylvania University in 1981. While attending Transy, he traded a gun for his first camera and has been consumed with creating images since.
His work appears in regional and national markets, in print and hanging in exhibitions. He and his wife, Melissa, live with their three cats and one dog in Lexington.
Memberships include ASMP (American Society of Media Photographers), CIVA (Christians in the Visual Arts), IAPP (International Association of Panoramic Photographers), Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen, as well as Crossroads Christian Church. He is a regional representative for TakeGreatPictures.com and also serves on the board of Bethlehem Farm & the Center for Women in Racing.
